YXE Poutine Week is 9 days of delicious food, fun, and competition between local restaurants in Saskatoon. Each restaurant creates a signature poutine dish inspired by their roots that they will sell over the course of the week. With over 20 local restaurants participating, we guarantee that your taste buds and heart will be satisfied!

What’s a LITTLE competition?
The restaurant who sells the most poutines will be crowned the “Gravy Bowl Champion.”
The restaurant voted the most delicious by restaurant goers will win the “Poutine Choice Award”.

“What better way to beat the chilly weather than to get together with some friends and dig into a treat that supports mentorships and community connections right here in Saskatoon,” said Kim Megyesi, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saskatoon. “We’re so proud and thankful for the great restaurants who cooked up something special in support of our cause.
Once the week wraps up, the restaurant that sells the most poutine will be crowned the “Gravy Bowl Champion.” The restaurant that’s voted the most delicious by restaurant-goers wins the “Poutine Choice Award” for favourite poutine. 2023 winners include Prairie Sun Brewery (Gravy Bowl Champion) and Filosophi Wise Cuisine (Poutine Choice Award).
